followthrough

well, i did make the market bag, it looks fabulous.  i will post a picture of it soon! also, going along with rediscivering the blogging world i love checking up on all the interesting blogs i follow, especially Suite 4E and Sometimes Sweet because they have some amazing insights and also have some fun giveaways!  you should def check them out.  also, there is so much going on in my life right now it is crazzzzy but very amazing as well.  i have not been this happy in a very long time and with these changes in my worklife and personal life it seems as if everything is falling right into place.  i will be sure to share more about this soon but for now i will leave you with this, don't take the simple things for granted, they will always make you smile and if you keep your heart open the sky's the limit.

craft magic

i have decided to become more crafty and work on my housewife skills haha. my new projects to accomplish involve making my own apron to use when baking my pastries and bread anddd i'm making essential oils to use in homemade soap and lotion. i have also found some cute patterns for things like a market bag and bracelets, oh and of course headbands, which will be lovely.  there will be pictures to come, and i have a feeling i will certainly get many of these projects done soon seeing as i cannot wait to use them.  i am also moving soon and that will be quite fun so i will have to find projects for decor and whatnot, which will be even more exciting!

dream big

the amount of activity and stress in my life is just overwhelming sometimes.  but, i kinda love it to be honest...being on the move and trying to balance everything equally is invigorating. it seems as if now i do need to reevaluate some things though.  i have so many dreams and goals that i want to accomplish, from fun baking projects to some sewing ideas and some small things like oranizing my room, putting together a new collage board, and reading some interesting psych books that i have just been able to skim in the past. but alas, i seem to always be in class and then when im not in class i'm working. so, my goal for the next two days is to put things in order, get my self into a more concrete schedule and be sure to stay physically active while still having time to do the fun projects that i have in my back pocket haha. well, off to make some breakfast and go to class

guilty pleasures

...truly, my guilty pleasure is tea, all kinds of tea (the one i was drinking yesterday was, as you can see, Harney & Sons Citron Green, it was delish) and i am currently drinking a chai mix from tevana, yes they are a tadddd expensive but i treated myself.  another guilty pleasure of mine is baking, yessss i love it.  i have always been fond of it but since working at a bakery for quite some time it has become a constant in my life...i actually just finished making two kinds of biscotti, one is cardamom almond and the other is vanilla with blueberries, yummm!  and yesterday, as i referenced in my previous post i believe, i made the best sugar cookies ever with my little man, i will be certain to put up a picture of our stellar star wars cookies next time! and, since i am in a sharing mood i do have one other guilty pleasure...i have quite a few shows that i love to watch, from bones to pretty little liars and then things like jersey shore and chuck, what can i say i guess i have a broad range of my likes haha. ohh and of course i love to paint my nails!  <3

perfection

i don't really know if perfection is attainable at all, but then again what i do believe is that each and everyone of us is able to become the perfect person that we are created to be, we are all beautiful in our own ways and there is no reason that we should be criticized for who we are.  when i think about this it really does make me smile. now, interestingly enough the way that it crossed my mind today was while i was making sugar cookie dough, it truly is the best batch that i think i have ever made, haha i am quite proud.  and what makes me even prouder is that i made the dough tonight for tomorrow morning when my favorite little man comes over to make star wars cookies with me, it shall be lovely...i'll be sure to take pictures!

resolutions

...i obviously have been lacking in dedication...this is going to change, i have promised myself to be dedicated in everything that is important to me (which is actually pretty much everything so it will be a challenge) even more so this year than last year. twenty eleven is going to be a year of new beginnings and embracing my skills and working on the ones that i love but certainly need to improve on.  time management will obviously be one of them, i really should be sleeping now and not writing this post while watching hp6 haha, but oh well, at least i have begun to start off on the right foot.  i'm glad i didn't start off right away with my new years resolutions because i really took my time to think about them, it makes me feel even more possessive of them now, and i am determined to stick to and accomplish all that i have set for myself!  so here we go, embarking on another year, another chance to do things right, more days to develop into the woman i am meant to be.  how exciting is that! most of the time i cant help but smile when i think about it.  well now i'm off to bed to get a good nights sleep before i go into my volunteer work, aka truly the kind of job that i want to get paid for in real life this time next year...and i know that i can reach that aspiration, i have been working for it for quite some time.  <3
